Project Brief : Create an illustration for a scientific article.
'The effect friendship has on the brain.' This is the basis of the scientific article I had to illustrate. I decided to show the connection between friendship and the brain through a puzzle-like style. I sketched out simplified people fitting together to silhouette a brain.
Project Brief : Collaborate with the City of Bellingham, Washington to produce a mural.
This project was created to be displayed in Downtown Bellingham. The client preferred bright and bold colors that would stand out in the city's landscape.
Project Brief : Produce illustrations for different points of ancient and modern history.
These illustrations were based off the seven wonders of the world. I decided to create an emphasis on texture to keep a traditional feel, and scan these designs into Photoshop to color.
